The XXXV International Championships
of Spain will be take place for
the fourth consecutive time at
the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.
Since 1988, when the first women's
international was hold in Spain,
it has been constant its growth
and development. The first edition
of International of Spain was
hold in the Royal Club of Polo
and Tennis of Barcelona.

Since 1996 the International of Spain
is being hold in Madrid, the first three
editions took place in the Chamartin
Tennis Club. In 1999, the tournament
was transferred to its present seat,
to the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid.
